Pittsburgh Diocesan Secretary for Education to Keynote Scholarship Dinner

LATROBE, PENNSYLVANIA — Rev. Kris D. Stubna, Secretary for Education for the Diocese of Pittsburgh, will be the keynote speaker at the annual Saint Vincent Seminary Scholarship Banquet, at 6 p.m. Thursday, April 25, at Churchill Valley Country Club.Father Stubna studied at the North American College in Rome where he earned licentiate and doctoral degrees in fundamental theology from the Gregorian University.

Ordained to the priesthood in 1985, Father Stubna served as a parochial vicar and Director for Catechesis and Secondary School Catechesis in the diocese. He has been the Secretary for Education of the Diocese of Pittsburgh since 1994. Father Stubna has written extensively, giving numerous retreats and talks, and is an adjunct faculty member at LaRoche College and Saint Vincent Seminary.
